The History Committee comprises a small group of enthusiastic local historians who meet monthly to discuss their research and to advance their writing on topics relating to Wymondham's history. Recent projects have included the writing of a new history of Wymondham and the revival of a Wymondham Heritage Society pamphlet series.
This section of the website offers more detailed information about aspects of history covered by Wymondham Heritage Museum. The first section written is about the history of the Bridewell itself. Future plans include pages on The Great Fire of Wymondham, Ketts Rebellion and the Briton Brush Factory amongst other subjects.
