200 Club

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE 200 CLUB COMMITTEE

The Wymondham Heritage Society 200 Club has been running since 2012 and it will have raised over £24,000 for the Museum. However, the scheme is no longer viable. Ticket numbers fall each year, and with the fixed prizes as defined in the Constitution, the scheme provides lower funding for the Museum. The final draw will take place in September 2022, and those prizes will be paid out.

There are now fewer than 100 tickets in the Draw. Also, regrettably, no one has come forward to replace the 200 Club Treasurer and 200 Club Secretary. The 200 Club scheme has fixed prizes, and with so few tickets being sold, the funds to support the Museum are diminished.

At the Wymondham Heritage Society Executive Committee meeting held on 14 September 2022 it was agreed that the final draw would be the September 2022 draw and as the 200 Club is no longer viable, it will be closed.

Therefore, the 200 Club is being wound up at the end of September 2022. All final proceeds held in the 200 Club bank account will be passed to the Wymondham Heritage Museum at the AGM.
