There is full access to the museum galleries and tea room with the exception of the recreated dungeon in the basement. Unfortunately, because of the age and layout of the building, the stairs down to the basement are uneven and twisty and there is no space to install a lift so this area is inaccessible to visitors with limited mobility.
There is limited parking available for blue badge holders. The car park is situated behind the museum with the entrance on Browick Road just past the tea room. Please call the museum on 01953 600 205 during museum opening hours to reserve a space.
A manual wheelchair is available to borrow. Please call the museum on 01953 600 205 during museum opening hours to reserve.
There is an accessible toilet.
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.
Visitors with disabilities may bring one companion free of charge.
