Planning your summer? Don’t forget to include Wymondham Open Gardens!
Wymondham Heritage Society and Museum will be running their Open Gardens event over the weekend 1st and 2nd June from midday to 5pm. Twenty four gardens, in a variety of styles and sizes, will be on view for visitors both experienced and new to gardening to enjoy and exchange ideas. Funds raised will go directly towards maintaining the Wymondham Heritage Museum which is run entirely by volunteers.
Each programme entitles the bearer to free entry to the Museum over the event weekend and this year will be extended to one occasion before the end of the 2024 season, an opportunity to see the museum at leisure.
Do come visit the Bridewell garden and enjoy a cream tea.
Programmes will be on sale from the beginning of May at a cost of £5 per adult (children free) giving access to all gardens over the weekend and will be on sale throughout May in Wymondham, at the Heritage Museum*, Abbey Shop*, Tourist Information Centre (above the Market Cross), George Reeves, The Marmalade Tree and Wymondham Garden Centre who have kindly sponsored printing and advertising.
(*Pay by cash or card, others cash only).
You can also buy your programme from our stall at the Market Cross on the mornings of May 17th, 18th, 24th, 31st and 2nd June. The gardeners themselves will have programmes for sale during the event (cash only) - look out for the yellow balloons, but do buy in advance if you can to avoid disappointment.
If you arrive at our Open Gardens event without a programme you may go to any of the gardens on this map, buy yours and start from there. Yellow balloons indicate the exact location.

We look forward to seeing you and say a big thank you in advance to all the participating gardeners and volunteers!
