Our friendly tea room serves hot and cold drinks, home-made cakes and freshly baked scones.
The tea room is based in the original exercise yard for the prisoners who were being held in the police remand cells. And we're probably the only tearoom in the area with a 10m well in the corner.
Throughout the year, the tearoom also hosts exhibitions of work by local artists.
Free Wi-Fi is also available in the tea room so you can surf the web or check your emails while relaxing and enjoying your refreshments.
You are welcome to visit just the tearoom without having to pay to see the museum. Please enter via the Browick Road side door (steps down direct to tearoom), or the accessible entrances are the front door or rear courtyard door to the museum.
